BALLER MOVE: Target ~300
CURRENT ADP: 319
ANALYSIS: Chris Colabello quietly had an incredible 2015 season for the Blue Jays and proved himself a secret propeller for the league's most dominant offense. His .321 AVG was second to only Miguel Cabrera at the position and an .886 OPS was good for top-10 among some of the MLB's toughest sluggers. The 32 year-old is often overlooked due to the lack of counting stats. Colabello hit only 15 HR with 54 RBI all of last year. That is mostly due to the fact that he split time with Justin Smoak at first base early on in the season, sometimes pushing him to the outfield and other times to the bench. Over the course of a full 162 games, Colabello would have hit 25 HR and 87 RBI. Paired with his .321/.367/.520 line, Colabello would be a potential All-Star first baseman with a full season of work under his belt. The Blue Jays have him listed above Smoak on the depth chart for 2016, plus his dual eligibility as an outfielder increases his value and his playing time. Colabello could be a high-ceiling sleeper whose value may pan out in April and beyond.
