3 years agoPittsburgh Pirates third baseman Ke'Bryan Hayes (thumb, forearm) is expected back Saturday. His injury is reportedly minor after he exited Thursday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals while attempting to make a diving catch in the field in the bottom of the first inning. He struck out in his only at-bat. The Pirates were cautious with their star third baseman and decided to sit him the rest of the game. The 25-year-old signed an eight-year, $70 million contract with the Pirates on Thursday. Fantasy managers can breathe a sigh of relief as Hayes won't be out of action long and should return to action this weekend.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
