X-Rays Come Back Negative For Ian Happ
3 years agoChicago Cubs outfielder Ian Happ (knee) underwent X-rays on his knee that came back negative on Saturday. After being plunked in his left knee, he exited Saturday's contest against the Milwaukee Brewers early and was replaced by Clint Frazier. In Saturday's win, the 27-year-old went 2-for-3 with three runs scored, two RBI, a walk, and a hit-by-pitch. Happ's knee has no structural damage and is considered day-to-day. The Cubs outfielder is off to a blistering start, slashing .714/.778/.1.000 with four RBI and three runs scored over nine plate appearances. Frazier would see an uptick in playing if Happmis were forced to miss any games.
