3 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder Teoscar Hernandez (side) will undergo an MRI after leaving Wednesday's 6-4 win over the New York Yankees with discomfort in his left side. He went 0-for-3 before exiting; the Blue Jays should know the extent of his injury once the MRI results are in on Thursday. Hernandez said, "the sensation felt similar to the oblique injury he suffered in 2020." The 29-year-old had a brief stint on the 10-day injured list and missed 10 games of the 2020 shortened season. Raimel Tapia would see an uptick in playing time if Hernandez is forced to miss time. Stay tuned.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
