3 years agoCincinnati Reds pitcher Luis Castillo (shoulder) is scheduled to throw live batting practice on Friday. He responded well after throwing bullpen sessions on Saturday and Tuesday. The 29-year-old is on the injured list to begin the season with right shoulder soreness, but barring any setbacks, he could make his season debut later this month for the Reds. He owned a 3.98 ERA, 1.36 WHIP, and 192 K's in 187 2/3 innings over 33 starts in 2021.
