3 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Chris Sale (ribs) was able to play catch on Friday. The All-Star pitcher revealed this is the fifth time he has been able to play catch since being diagnosed with a stress fracture in his rib cage. The left-hander is pain-free, but it's uncertain when he'll throw off the mound. It sounds like Sale is making progress, but it's a long road back.
