3 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Hyun Jin Ryu (forearm) is going for an MRI exam on Sunday morning after experiencing left forearm soreness on Saturday, according to the team. Ryu felt the soreness during his outing on Saturday against the Oakland Athletics, when he allowed five runs and six hits while walking none in 3 1/3 innings pitched in his first start of the season. Fantasy managers should prepare for a possible trip to the 10-day injured list for the 35-year-old southpaw, depending on the results of the MRI exam. Even if Ryu doesn't land on the injured list, there's a good chance he won't be ready to toe the rubber for his next scheduled turn in Toronto's rotation.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
