Frank Schwindel To Rest On Saturday
3 years agoChicago Cubs first baseman Frank Schwindel (rest) is out of the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates. This appears to be a routine day off for Schwindel who has started in 13 of the first 14 games of the season. The 29-year-old is off to a slow start at the plate with a battling line of .226/.268/.396 with two homers and eight RBI. Alfonso Rivas will cover first base and bat eighth versus righty Zach Thompson. Fantasy managers can ignore Rivas because there isn't much upside with his bat.
