3 years agoSeattle Mariners pitcher Justus Sheffield has been optioned to Triple-A Tacoma on Sunday. They need to shorten their roster, so it seems that Sheffield is the odd man out. He was excellent out of the bullpen for the Mariners. He threw 4 2/3 scoreless innings during his time at the big leagues this season. Although, the Mariners are likely sending him to the minors, so he can stretch out as a starting pitcher. Fantasy managers shouldn't expect Sheffield to remain in the minors for too long.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
