3 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Taylor Ward (hamstring) is expected to be in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Oakland Athletics. This would be the first time Ward has been in the starting lineup since last Sunday. He has been dealing with right hamstring tightness, but came off the bench to pinch-hit on Wednesday. Ward blasted a solo home run during that at-bat, so he appears ready to get back into action. He is slashing .367/..490/.709 with seven home runs this season.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
