3 years agoChicago Cubs infielder Nico Hoerner (ankle) is out of the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Arizona Diamondbacks. He will miss his third straight game after suffering an ankle injury on Wednesday. The 25-year-old is considered day-to-day, but could end up on the injured list, assuming this issue doesn't get better soon. In the meantime, Ildemaro Vargas will get the start at shortstop and bat ninth versus righty Humberto Castellanos on Sunday.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
