Austin Meadows Hits Homer In Rehab Game
2 years agoDetroit Tigers outfielder Austin Meadows (vertigo) launched a solo home run during Saturday's rehab game for Triple-A Toledo. That was the lone hit of the ballgame for Meadows before he was removed for a defensive replacement. The 27-year-old is expected to return to the big league lineup at some point next week. He has missed a few weeks of action due to vertigo symptoms, but appears to be doing better now. He'll likely still play a few more minor league games before returning to Detroit.
