2 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Max Scherzer (oblique) threw a three-inning simulated game on Thursday. He continues to work his way back from an oblique strain that has kept him sidelined since mid-May. The tentative plan is for him to begin a minor league rehab assignment next Tuesday, but it's unknown if he'll need more than one rehab start. The organization is hopeful to get Scherzer back by the end of June. However, fantasy managers should view early July as a better timetable for Scherzer.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
