2 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals catcher Ivan Herrera has been recalled from Triple-A Memphis on Friday. Veteran catcher Yadier Molina (knee) was placed on the injured list, retroactive June 16. That being said, Herrera has been recalled to take over Molina's spot on the active roster. The expectation is that Herrera will catch a few times a week while Molina is sidelined. However, Andrew Knizner figures to do a majority of the catching in St. Louis. Neither of these players are expected to have much fantasy value.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
