2 years agoSan Diego Padres third baseman Manny Machado (ankle) was forced to exit early during Sunday's game against the Colorado Rockies. He stepped awkwardly trying to beat out a grounder to first base. Machado wasn't able to put much weight on his ankle and walked off the field with two trainers. Luckily, the X-rays were negative and the Padres are calling the issue a left ankle sprain. It's uncertain if Machado will land on the injured list. The good news is, Machado isn't expected to miss much time if any at all.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
