2 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Freddy Peralta (lat) threw a flat ground on Saturday and manager Craig Counsell said it went "great". This is another step in the right direction for the young righty, who has been sidelined since late May with a lat strain. He still has many hurdles to clear, however, and won't be ready until late July at the earliest. The 26-year-old stud had a 4.42 ERA and 1.19 WHIP, but was heating up before going on the IL. Excluding the start where he injured himself, Peralta had a 1.57 ERA and 0.80 WHIP over his last six starts. He should be a great option for fantasy managers down the stretch.--Matt Garon - RotoBaller
