2 years agoLos Angeles Angels starting pitcher Michael Lorenzen (shoulder) has been transferred from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day IL. This was just a procedural move to open up a spot on the Angels' 40-man roster. Lorenzen has been out since the beginning of July with a right shoulder strain but has recently resumed a throwing program. The 30-year-old right-hander owns a 4.94 ERA, 1.35 WHIP, and 55:30 K/BB ratio over 71 innings (13 starts) this season. Barring any setbacks, he could return to the Angels' rotation sometime in September.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
