2 years agoNew York Mets Infielder Eduardo Escobar (oblique) had an MRI on his sore left oblique, which came back clean per beat writer Anthony DiComo. The 33-year-old exited Friday's contest early after injuring his side. Escobar told reporters that he still feels some discomfort when he swings but that he's getting better every day. He should be able to avoid the injured list but he'll likely remain out for a few more games before returning to the lineup.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
