2 years agoArizona Diamondbacks infielder Ketel Marte (hamstring) and outfielder/catcher Daulton Varsho (jaw) both left Sunday's game against the Colorado Rockies early due to injuries. Marte exited with left hamstring tightness after running the bases in the ninth inning. Manager Torey Lovullo said the team is hoping it's nothing serious and that Marte will return to the starting lineup soon. Varsho was hit in the jaw by a baseball that was tossed to him as the outfielders were running into the dugout between innings. Lovullo said Varsho could have continued playing but he was removed as a precautionary measure. It sounds like both players should be available for fantasy managers soon, but it remains to be seen if they'll be available for the doubleheader against the San Francisco Giants on Monday.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
