Kyle Schwarber Still Sidelined Monday
2 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Kyle Schwarber (calf) remains out of the starting lineup for Monday's contest against the Cincinnati Reds. It will be the fourth straight game that Schwarber has missed with his sore calf, but fantasy managers should continue to consider him day-to-day for now. The 29-year-old left-handed slugger remains a must-start in fantasy when he's in the lineup despite hitting just .211 on the season. In 408 at-bats in his first year in Philly, Schwarber has 34 bombs, 69 RBI, 71 runs scored and six stolen bases. Matt Vierling is starting in left field and is batting ninth against Reds left-hander Mike Minor. Vierling will be a low-upside DFS play out of the nine hole on Monday. He's hitting .221 with four homers, 17 RBI, 24 runs scored and five stolen bases in 195 at-bats in 2022.
