Bill Belichick Praises Rhamondre Stevenson
2 years agoNew England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick has been impressed with how running back Rhamondre Stevenson has improved in the passing game this summer. "Rhamondre has done a real good job improving his pass-game skills," Belichick said. The head coach also emphasized that he likes what he's seen from Stevenson as a pass-protector heading into his second NFL season. With James White retired, Stevenson is competing with Ty Montgomery and rookie Pierre Strong Jr. for pass-catching duties on third downs behind lead back Damien Harris. The 24-year-old caught 14 of his 18 targets for 123 yards in 12 games (two starts) in 2021, but he should have a bigger role in Year 2. Stevenson is a fine RB3/flex target in fantasy drafts, especially in PPR leagues.
