Kyle Pitts Should Be Worth His Draft Price
2 years agoESPN.com's Michael Rothstein thinks Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts should be in consideration for the 33rd overall pick (where he went in ESPN's latest mock draft) heading into his second NFL season. Quarterbacks Marcus Mariota and Desmond Ridder will likely scramble plenty, which in theory could help Pitts if it sucks in a defender while he's on a short or intermediate route. The talent level at the other skill positions on offense shouldn't be an issue either. Rookie receiver Drake London will command attention, as will running back Cordarrelle Patterson, who can line up anywhere. Pitts, who caught 68 passes for 1,026 yards and a touchdown in his rookie campaign, should be viewed as a top-five fantasy tight end.
