2 years agoMinnesota Twins manager Rocco Baldelli said that second baseman Jorge Polanco (knee) left Monday's game early after he "banged his knee up pretty good on a slide" at home plate. Tim Beckham came off the bench to replace Polanco and started a game-ending double play. Before departing, Polanco went 1-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored in the 4-2 victory over the Kansas City Royals. Although the 29-year-old's injury didn't seem too serious, fantasy managers should check back on Tuesday to see if Polanco is back in the starting lineup. Polanco is hitting only .235 on the season, but he also has a useful .342 on-base percentage, 15 home runs, 55 RBI, 51 runs scored and three stolen bases for the Twins in 349 at-bats.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
