2 years agoUpdating a previous report, Houston Astros infielder Aledmys Diaz (groin) left the game early on Tuesday against the Chicago White Sox with left groin discomfort, according to the team. Diaz started in left field and went 0-for-2 before departing and being replaced by Chas McCormick. The super-utility man should be considered day-to-day for now. Entering Tuesday's action, the 32-year-old was hitting .254/.305/.421 with 10 home runs, 32 RBI, 31 runs scored and a stolen base in 252 at-bats for the 'Stros. He remains useful for infield and outfield depth in deeper leagues, and he'd been seeing more time recently in the outfield with Michael Brantley (shoulder) still on the injured list.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
