Julio Jones To Take Part In Joint Practices
2 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Julio Jones is expected to accompany the team to Nashville this week to take part in the team's two joint practices with the Tennessee Titans, according to head coach Todd Bowles. Jones didn't play in the team's preseason opener last Saturday against the Miami Dolphins, but he's not dealing with an injury. The 33-year-old won't be working with quarterback Tom Brady, who remains away from the team for personal reasons. Receivers Mike Evans (hamstring), Russell Gage (leg) and Chris Godwin (knee) remain out, so Jones should get plenty of repetitions in practice this week. Jones looked near the end with the Titans last year and battled lower-body injuries, but he could bounce back with Brady in 2022.
