Rays Reinstate Manuel Margot From Injured List
2 years agoThe Tampa Bay Rays reinstated outfielder Manuel Margot (knee) from the 60-day injured list on Saturday. In corresponding roster moves, the team placed outfielder Roman Quinn (knee) on the 10-day injured list and designated right-hander Ralph Garza Jr. for assignment. Margot was away from the team for two months with a right patellar tendon strain in his knee, but he should be back in Saturday's lineup against Kansas City Royals left-hander Kris Bubic. The 27-year-old Dominican will return to a strong .302/.365/.423 slash line with three home runs, 27 RBI, 21 runs scored and five stolen bases in 51 games. If Margot is available on your league's waiver wire, scoop him up immediately.
