Teoscar Hernandez Returns, George Springer Still Out
2 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder Teoscar Hernandez (foot) is back in the starting lineup on Sunday against New York Yankees left-hander Nestor Cortes, serving as the designated hitter and batting cleanup. However, outfielder George Springer (knee) remains on the bench. Hernandez left the game early on Saturday after fouling a ball off his left foot, but he's back in there and should be back in starting fantasy lineups as well. The 29-year-old is hitting .265/.316/.487 with an .804 OPS, 18 homers, 58 RBI, 49 runs and six stolen bases on the season. Springer is missing his third straight game after going 5-for-5 on Thursday. However, he could return as soon as Monday. Jackie Bradley Jr. is in center field and hitting ninth against Cortes.
