Christian Watson Cleared For Team Drills
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers rookie wide receiver Christian Watson (knee) has progressed to the point where he'll be involved in some team drills at training camp practice on Sunday. Watson came off the Physically Unable to Perform list a week ago but did not play in the second preseason game against the New Orleans Saints on Friday night. The 23-year-old second-rounder has missed a lot of practice time with quarterback Aaron Rodgers, so he could struggle to produce for fantasy managers early on. As of right now, Green Bay's starting wideouts are Allen Lazard, Sammy Watkins, Randall Cobb and fellow rookie Romeo Doubs. Watson might still be worth a late-round flier in deeper fantasy leagues, but don't expect much early on.
