Khalil Herbert Returns To Practice
2 years agoChicago Bears running back Khalil Herbert (undisclosed), who left training camp practice on Saturday with an undisclosed injury, returned to practice on Sunday. Herbert's injury obviously wasn't too serious, as he's back on the field a day later. It remains to be seen if the 24-year-old will be able to play in the team's third and final preseason game next weekend. Herbert looked good replacing David Montgomery in his rookie season in 2021, carrying the ball 103 times for 433 yards and two touchdowns, also adding 14 receptions for 96 yards on 16 targets in 17 games (two starts). With Montgomery still the starter, Herbert will mostly just be a handcuff option in deeper leagues in case Montgomery misses time with an injury.
