Jonathan India Dealing With More Leg Soreness
2 years agoCincinnati Reds second baseman Jonathan India (leg) left the game early on Wednesday against the Philadelphia Phillies with left leg soreness. "It takes a lot to get him out of the game. I'm glad he got the trainers involved and we were able to get him out of there," manager David Bell said. India missed a couple games earlier this month with the same issue, so hopefully this time around he won't need a stint on the injured list. He went 1-for-3 in Wednesday's game with a double and an RBI before leaving. For now, fantasy managers should consider him to be day-to-day. After winning National League Rookie of the Year in 2021, the 25-year-old has struggled with injuries this year and is hitting .245/.310/.397 with eight home runs, 27 RBI, 32 runs scored and two stolen bases in 257 at-bats in 2022.
