Clyde Edwards-Helaire Atop The RB Depth Chart
2 years agoKansas City Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire is clearly atop the running back depth chart, according to ESPN's Adam Teicher. However, it seems as though rookie Isiah Pacheco and Jerick McKinnon could carve out significant roles based on their strong play in training camp and the preseason. But the Chiefs haven't committed to anything behind Edwards-Helaire. With Pacheco and McKinnon standing out, it's bad news for Ronald Jones, who didn't play in the first half of the most recent preseason game and didn't get the ball once when he was on the field. CEH's fantasy stock has fallen after the former first-round has disappointed in his first two seasons, but it's mainly been due to injuries. The 23-year-old will have to play well to hold off Pacheco and McKinnon, but he's not a bad value as an RB3/flex.
