2 years agoAlthough New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh said the team can wait until the week before the Sept. 11 regular season opener against the Baltimore Ravens to name a starting quarterback between Zach Wilson (knee) and veteran Joe Flacco, all signs point to Flacco getting the start. Wilson is a week removed from surgery to fix a torn meniscus and also has a bone bruise in his right knee. The 37-year-old is expected to get a final dress rehearsal in the preseason finale this Sunday against the New York Giants. Flacco has reportedly looked good in training camp while working with the starters, but he'll be nothing more than a last-gasp QB2 in superflex leagues if he gets the start in Week 1.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
