Dolphins Officially Sign Trey Flowers
2 years agoThe Miami Dolphins officially signed former New England Patriots and Detroit Lions linebacker Trey Flowers to an undisclosed deal on Monday. Flowers failed his physical in March and was released by the Lions after playing in 14 total games due to injuries in the last two years. Originally a fourth-round selection by the Patriots in 2015 out of the University of Arkansas, Flowers has 261 tackles (160 solo), 31.5 sacks, 37 tackles for loss, 86 QB hits, seven passes defensed, 10 forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries in 75 career games (64 starts) over seven NFL seasons. The 29-year-old veteran will provide valuable depth for the Dolphins defense in 2022.
