2 years agoLos Angeles Rams running back Cam Akers needs to maximize opportunities when he checks into future games, head coach Sean McVay told members of the media. Akers struggled in the first game of the NFL season on Thursday, producing just three carries for zero yards on an 18 percent snap share. On the other hand, Darrell Henderson saw the field for 82 percent of snaps, adding 47 rushing yards and 26 receiving yards. We don't know what the splits will look like in Week 2, but evidently, McVay wants to see much more quality football out of Akers. For now, he projects as a high-end RB4 and can be left on the bench in most fantasy leagues (at least until he returns to fantasy-relevant form).--Andersen Pickard - RotoBaller
