It's a good thing Aaron Rodgers has never really liked throwing to tight ends because he'll be without Andrew Quarless for the next 4-6 weeks with a sprained MCL. Quarless isn't expected to be a huge loss from a fantasy perspective since he was mostly used as a blocking tight end. In fact, he has only had two targets in the passing game all season thus far.
Richard Rodgers will remain the starting tight end for the Packers and Kennard Backman will move up to No. 2 on the depth chart.
None of the Packers tight ends are worth starting in your fantasy football lineups and Rodgers is the only one worth owning. If you're looking for a tight end to start, you'd be better off looking somewhere else. The New York Giants backup tight end Daniel Fells is definitely worth a look.
