DeSean Jackson's fantasy football owners will be happy to hear that the speedy receiver participated in individual drill on Wednesday. Jackson has been out of action since Week 1 after suffering a hamstring injury.
Jackson's status for the Redskins' Week 5 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons is still very much in the air. Since Jackson is a speed receiver, the team will want to make sure his hamstring is 100 percent healed so he doesn't suffer any sort of setback. With that said, I think it's much more likely that the team will keep him out of action until Week 6 against the New York Jets.
I'd recommend picking up Jamison Crowder off of waivers while you're waiting for Jackson to return. The rookie out of Duke has been playing great in Jackson's absence. He has 15 receptions and 117 yards thus far.
