Heading into Week 5 preparations, the Indianapolis Colts were optimistic that quarterback Andrew Luck would be able to play on tonight against the Houston Texans. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like he'll be able to go.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport is reporting that the team expects Luck to miss the game tonight. Luck still plans on testing his shoulder an hour or so before kickoff, but the team is currently planning on Matt Hasselbeck getting his second straight start.
Hasselback played well in Week 4 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, so I wouldn't let this news downgrade any of the Colts receivers. However, Hasselbeck is too risky of an option to use as a starting quarterback in your fantasy football leagues. Hasselbeck hasn't exactly been healthy either. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, he was in the emergency room until 2AM this morning dealing with a virus.
The Colts third option at quarterback is Josh Johnson.
If you need a fill-in quarterback this week for Luck, consider starting Blake Bortles (vs. Bucs) or Nick Foles (vs. Packers).
