Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll isn't going to make life easy for Marshawn Lynch's fantasy football owners. The running back will once again be a game-time decision.
“We’re going day-to-day on this thing, and it will take us all the way to the end of the week before we know," Carroll said, according to the Seattle Times. "He did make a lot of progress last week, and was able to run around some and all that. He’s worked really hard at it so we’ll see if we can get it done.”
If Lynch does get the start, he should resume his role as a starting running back in all fantasy football leagues against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 5. If Lynch can't go, Thomas Rawls would see the bulk of the carries. In that case, I would list Rawls as a nice RB3/flex play.
The Seahawks will understandably play it cautious when it comes to Lynch. He's no spring chicken anymore. The team just wants to make sure he's healthy and ready to roll come playoff time.
