Denver Broncos wide receiver Cody Latimer has been ruled out for the team's Week 5 matchup against the Oakland Raiders. The young receiver suffered a groin injury against the Minnesota Vikings last week.
Latimer has every little fantasy football value, especially in redraft leagues. When the Broncos took Latimer with their second round pick in the 2014 NFL draft, many people expected him to eventually become one of Peyton Manning's favorite targets. For whatever reason, Latimer has yet to get on the same page with Manning. Latimer has only two catches this season for 23 yards.
Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders will continue to be Manning's primary targets in the passing game. If you're looking for a young Broncos receiver to grab in dynasty and keeper leagues, consider Bennie Fowler who has five catches for 61 yards with very few targets in the passing game.
Latimer should not be owned in any redraft leagues and at this point, he should only be held onto in dynasty/keeper leagues if you have an unneeded roster spot.
