ANALYSIS: Larry Donnell's fantasy value is almost exclusively tied to touchdowns. That is, when he scores them, he has value. When he doesn't ... well, he's not going to give you much else. The New York Giants' starting tight end has been targeted at least six times in four of the seven games this season, which is good. The bad news? He's failed to reach even 40 yards in a game, and has scored just two touchdowns.

Luckily for Donnell -- and you, if you decide to play him -- he draws a Week 8 matchup with the New Orleans Saints, one of the worst teams in the NFL at defending tight ends. The Saints were torched by Greg Olsen for 134 yards and two scores, but Olsen certainly qualifies as an elite, matchup-proof player. Darren Fells (82 yards, TD), Zach Ertz (60 yards) and Coby Fleener (47 yards), however, reside in the Donnell fantasy tier, and they've all found success against New Orleans.

Donnell is not going to explode for 100 yards and two scores, but the game between New York and New Orleans is expected to be a shootout, with a total over/under of 49.5 points. If you're in a bye-week pinch or simply looking for a cheap wild-card play in DFS, you could do worse than Donnell.
