BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 51% of Fleaflicker Leagues
ANALYSIS: So much for Ameer Abdullah. Many owners were hoping for a Lamar Miller-like resurgence from "AA" after the coaching change in Detroit. Unfortunately, Abdullah is deeper in the doghouse than Snoopy during a blizzard. With Zenner out, this leaves Theo Riddick and Joique Bell as the main options out of the backfield in Detroit.
While the offensive line remains a problem, as does the fact that the Lions will play from behind a lot, Joique Bell could have some upside here. With all the injuries at an already shallow position, anyone getting a guaranteed amount of touches is worth an add. As you can see, Bell is still available in around half of the leagues out there.
Health is really what has held Bell back this year, but he looked pretty healthy against the Chiefs last week. In particular, Bell was able to find a hole and rip off a 30+ yard run on Sunday. His numbers weren't eye-popping by any means, but if the Lions hold true to recommitting to the run, he could be a good bet for some cheap goal-line touchdowns. Looking down the road, the Lions have some run friendly matchups against the Saints and Niners in weeks 15 and 16.
