Blake Bortles, DeMarco Murray and Brandon LaFell Are All Week 10 Must-Starts

Week 10 is a very interesting one featuring many pivotal divisional matchups and some pivotal important stars on bye. We’re always looking for the best value in fantasy and there are three position players that aren’t getting enough love entering the weekend.

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles has not been visually impressive in the actual games due to his poor decision-making, but he’s done a good job for fantasy purposes. Bortles has been a top-ten fantasy quarterback with an average of over 20 standard fantasy points per game.

Considering how cheap he is in daily fantasy and his low ownership percentages in standard leagues compared to the other quarterbacks giving the same or less production, Bortles has become a gem. This week should see him take the fantasy success to another level against the lackluster Baltimore Ravens pass defense. You have to target Bortles in DFS cash games, as he’s become reliable and the matchup will never be better.

One of the top running backs in the NFL over the last month has been DeMarco Murray. The Philadelphia Eagles have finally realized that he’s their best offensive player and are showcasing him as such. Over the last four games, Murray is averaging 119 total yards and a touchdown per game.

The Miami Dolphins have the second-worst run defense in the NFL behind the Cleveland Browns, allowing 142 rushing yards and a touchdown per game. Murray is one of the most secure running backs on the board this week. With the way Philadelphia is using him and the problems surrounding others at the position, Murray has become a top-five fantasy running back once again.

The best value at wide receiver in daily fantasy this week has to be the very affordable Brandon LaFell. The New England Patriots have lost Dion Lewis but they are still expected to be the best passing team in the NFL. Lewis’ absence as an elite pass-catching running back will open more targets up for the wide receivers. LaFell had his breakout performance of the season last week in his third game back from a foot injury.

Expect the momentum to continue as the Patriots will face a sub-par New York Giants defense in a close game. LaFell is averaging eight targets per game since returning and that number will be on the rise. Tom Brady loves LaFell and there is great chemistry between the two. Last season, LaFell was a top-25 wide receiver and he should return to that level starting this week.
