Calm Your Expectations for DeSean Jackson and Davante Adams?

DeSean Jackson has been a bust since coming to Washington from Philadelphia. There's really no other way to put it. Between the injuries and the overall lack of production, Jackson hasn't been anything close to the No. 1 threat the Redskins were hoping for.

Jackson's been back for two weeks now, but has only managed five catches for 59 yards. Even worse, he only finished with two catches for 44 yards against the abysmal New Orleans Saints secondary last week. The Redskins scored 47 points against the Saints, yet Jackson only managed 44 yards on two catches.

Now, the Redskins will travel to Carolina to face one of the stingiest defenses in football. Jackson's speed and big-play ability always make him an enticing start, but he's yet to show that he's 100 percent healthy and is more of a risk than a reward at this point.

The Dallas Cowboys are finally ready to welcome Tony Romo back to the starting lineup, but it's difficult to see him really doing much against the Miami Dolphins. Romo hasn't played since he broke his collarbone against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 2.

A broken collarbone is not an easy injury to return from, even though it's been reported that he is 100 percent healthy, according to ESPN. Still, I'm apprehensive to slot Romo as a 'must-start' quarterback this week.

The Cowboys have found great success with their ground game in Romo's absence, and I could see them using a whole lot of Darren McFadden so they don't put too much pressure on Romo in his first game back. The Dolphins rank 31st against opposing fantasy running backs, according to ESPN, so look for a heavy dose of the running game for Dallas this week.

Davante Adams has been disappointing as Jordy Nelson's replacement this year. He's had a pretty good last two weeks totaling 172 yards, but he still hasn't found the endzone this season. Now, Adams will face a vaunted Minnesota Vikings defense that limited the Oakland Raiders offense to just 14 points.

The Green Bay Packers are in the midst of one of their worst slides since 2008, and it's tough to see them getting back to normal on the road against a Vikings team that is looking to create even more separation in the NFC North.

Adams will get his share of targets, but it's tough to see him breaking his scoreless streak against Minnesota who limited Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree to 150 combined yards last week.
