BALLER MOVE: Add in 12- and 14-team leagues
OWNED IN: 13% of Fleaflicker leagues
ANALYSIS: Let's have some fun with numbers, shall we? Running back Ahmad Bradshaw has played in 15 games over the last two seasons with the Indianapolis Colts. In those 15 games, he has nine receiving touchdowns (11 overall). Compare that with his three receiving touchdowns in 87 career games with the New York Giants, and you can plainly see one of the more random, late-career statistical anomalies in recent memory.
Whatever the reason, this much is clear -- the Colts love targeting Bradshaw in the red zone and around the goal-line. He finished with four receptions for 20 yards and a pair of touchdowns in Sunday's comeback win over the Atlanta Falcons. His 2.9 yards per carry average leaves plenty to be desired, but he's turned three of his five catches over the last two games into touchdowns.
Frank Gore remains the primary ball carrier in Indianapolis, but Bradshaw had 13 total touches against the Falcons (nine carries, four receptions). If the 29-year-old Bradshaw continues to see a handful of carries and targets, he'll have value moving forward, particularly in PPR leagues. Not to mention Frank Gore has plenty of tread on this tires. This makes Bradshaw a reasonable addition in deeper season leagues as depth at the running back or flex spots.
