Omri Casspi (SF, SAC) - Waiver Wire Pickups

BALLER MOVE: Add in All Leagues

OWNED IN: 35% of Yahoo! Leagues

ANALYSIS: Omri Casspi had himself a pretty nice day on Tuesday against the Rockets. He recorded 19 points, six rebounds, six assists, and two steals. The scoring came on an efficient 8 of 11 shooting, with three of those makes coming from downtown. He's been getting extended minutes while Willie Cauley-Stein rehabs his finger injury, but it's becoming very likely that Casspi could retain his prominent role in the Kings' offense if he continues playing like this.

George Karl's system seems to be doing wonders for Casspi's fantasy value. Karl likes his team to play fast and the 6'9" Casspi will provide versatility as a passer, rebounder, and shooter. He benefits from having Rajon Rondo, and DeMarcus Cousins on the same team, and is currently enjoying career-highs in field goal percentage, three-point percentage, rebounds, assists and points. Casspi's worth adding in all leagues as his floor is pretty high right now and his ceiling is fairly enticing while he's playing so many minutes.
