Week 15 Lineup Booms? Michael Crabtree, Lamar Miller, A.J. Green

Over his last five games, Michael Crabtree’s numbers have been nothing more than mediocre. Crabtree, who recently signed an extension to stay in Oakland for the next few years, has cooled off since tearing it up with three-straight double-digit fantasy outings from Weeks 7-9.

Crabtree has only amassed 178 yards in his last five games, including his 19 yard-dud against the vaunted Denver Broncos in Week 14. But Crabtree, and the Raiders as a whole, have a much more favorable matchup against the Green Bay Packers at home this Sunday.

Rookie Amari Cooper has struggled badly with drops this year and is listed as “Probable” with a foot issue. The Packers will also be without their top cornerback Sam Shields, so look for Derek Carr to throw it a lot, especially to Crabtree, who leads the team in targets, catches, and touchdowns, according to ESPN.

Someone needs to explain to the Miami Dolphins that their team performs better when Lamar Miller is on the field. It isn’t more complicated than that.

Once again, Miller was off to a phenomenal start against the New York Giants on Monday Night, with a pair of touchdowns and 18 fantasy points in the first half alone. Then, in typical Dolphins fashion, they barely utilized him in the second half and went on to lose the game.

Miller has been limited at practice after a slight ankle tweak during Monday’s game, so that could explain his lack of use in the second half, but it looks as if he’ll be good to go against the abysmal San Diego Chargers. San Diego has allowed the second-most yards per carry to opposing running backs, according to ESPN, and assuming he’s healthy, it’s safe to assume that Miller easily eclipses the double-digit mark this week.

The Cincinnati Bengals will be without quarterback Andy Dalton for at least the next few weeks, so it’s important that A.J. McCarron develops some chemistry with A.J. Green, his best receiver. Green caught five passes from McCarron against the Steelers last week, including a 64-yard touchdown right out of the gate.

The Bengals now get the San Francisco 49ers this week, a team that made the Cleveland Browns and Johnny Manziel look like an actual NFL offense the week before. Green is one of the best receivers in the league, and with some early success with McCarron last week, look for the two to hook up again more than a few times this week.
