BALLER MOVE: Stash in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 34% of Yahoo! Leagues
ANALYSIS: So usually I write about players who have been excelling of late around the league. This time though I'm going talk about a prime stash candidate in Brandon Jennings. 11 months ago, Jennings ruptured his left Achilles tendon, but he is finally getting close to game action this season. The starting job will remain with Reggie Jackson, who has been playing very well. However, Brandon Jennings still makes for a good injury stash because we've seen what he's capable of before.
Playing for the Pistons' D-League affiliate on Saturday, Jennings scored 11 points while racking up 12 assists and three boards in 27 minutes of play. His teammates Reggie Jackson and Andre Drummond said that Jennings looked good and that he seemed to be getting his burst back. The Pistons would love to have Jennings back as their second unit has struggled with scoring. Jennings is an explosive player who can go off on a given night and shoot the lights out. Fantasy owners in need of scoring and three-pointers should take notice and grab him now where available. Obviously if anything were to happen to Reggie Jackson, Jennings would gain significant value.
