ANALYSIS: The other "Gallo" (I bet New York has started wishing they still had their original "Gallo," Danilo Gallinari, since he's suddenly turned into a better player than Carmelo Anthony) looks like he could be earning a slot in the starting lineup for Kurt Rambis soon. Rambis has suggested that he would start to tweak some of his rotations, so if Galloway can string together some more solid outings a change he would make for a decent waiver add. On Wednesday, Galloway scored 17 points while adding six rebounds and four assists in 29 minutes of play.

For a guard, Galloway seems more adept at grabbing rebounds than dishing assists. This isn't a bad thing though, as it could give him a Jason Kidd lite feel. His scoring can be a bit inconsistent at times, but a move to the starting lineup could help him get into a rhythm out of the gates. His role will also depend on whether he usurps Jose Calderon or Arron Afflalo. His assist numbers will get a boost if he's asked to play point, whereas he could focus more on scoring if he takes over for Afflalo. Either way, he is worth adding.
