ANALYSIS: Yet another rookie from this awesome draft class has started looking like a keeper -- this time it's Josh Richardson, a second-rounder out of Tennessee. He's been great for the Miami Heat at a time where the team is really thin on bodies. Miami is currently going with an eight-man rotation -- cutting out inconsistent players like Gerald Green -- and that really helps Richardson. Even with the addition of Joe Johnson, Richardson is getting a full complement of minutes.
Richardson is not a player who will give you elite numbers in any category, but he will efficiently fill up the stat sheet. With 43 points over his last four, he's averaging double digit scoring in that span. Nothing spectacular there, but he can shoot the three-ball, grab some rebounds, dish some assists, and even accumulate some steals and blocks with relative consistency. The best part is that his shooting and free throw percentages are very strong so he makes for a good supporting player to round out 12+ team league rosters.
