BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 34 percent of Fleaflicker leagues
ANALYSIS: Coming into this season, Didi Gregorius had established himself as a glove-first shortstop with little fantasy value. Even at a (formerly, anyway) thin position, he ranked 20th or worse in all five of the standard categories. 2016 has been a different story so far, however. Thanks in large part to a more aggressive approach - particularly early in the count - Gregorius currently boasts a .290/.318/.453 line that has made him mixed-league relevant. He's already set career bests in homers and stolen bases with a third of the season still left to play. He's hit exclusively in the bottom half of the Yankees order, but that could change with the expected youth movement in the Bronx. Given the explosion of young talent at shortstop over the last year and change, Gregorious remains an unsexy choice, but he's a fine MI option in most leagues.
